Founder’s Message
By the mercy of Allah, Integrated Rural Development Foundation (IRDF) has been working humanitarian and developmental activities for past 23 years in Bangladesh. Since its inception, IRDF is committed to achieving long-term, sustainable changes in the lives of the most marginalized and deprived communities in Bangladesh. However, during this long journey, one hand, we achieved many rewards and recognitions from governmental and non-governmental institutions. On the other hand, IRDF had to go through numerous challenges and obstacles.
The challenges were the priceless learning that made us successful in our endeavors. We shared together happy moments as well as the sad experiences. We believe that sorrows can never obliterate the joy of success.
At this juncture, we are glad to share that IRDF finally got a registration & awarded approval certificate from NGO affairs Bureau under Prime Minister’s office on 21st March 2021. This is a big achievement for IRDF family. I personally congratulate my fellow colleagues and teammates those who worked tirelessly for this accomplishment. I also would like to thank all the General Committee and Executive Committee members.
We are thankful to NGO Affairs Bureau, Government of Bangladesh, and our development and funding partners for their continuous support in this journey. I also appreciate the hard work of our team, sponsors, volunteers and well-wishers who remain by IRDF and help us make the difference.
